Sexy Facts: Lets Talk about Sex!

sex blog female erotica literoticaWhat happens when you travel is you have lots of time to consider what you would like to do in a certain circumstance.  If you would rearrange the furniture, paint the walls a different color, add new drapes….then what would you do if you could.  Here is one of the answers.  Of course, I spoke at length yesterday about the first SexyWhispers sponsored phone chat sessions.  I am going to keep talking about that until I get a group of interested women for the first sexy session.

Next…information!  That means on Sundays, I will have a “can not believe it” fact of the week.  This gives women something to think about or discuss with your friends.

Today:  33% of women say that they would not commit to a man who isn’t good in bed.  (source: Glamour magazine, Dec. 2007).

  • Doesn’t this mean that there should be 33% more women happier with their sex life?
  • What do the other 67% of the women do?

I guess that this stat was supposed to be comforting, but I only find it devastating.  Anyone else?~~Dee

  1. This is the one thing that I actually “Upped” in my “these are very important for a relationship” list…

Sex… is now damn high on the list because I never, ever want to find myself being sexually frustrated in a serious relationship.

I guess that means that the 67% are either lying to themselves, to their partners, having affairs, being dissatisfied and afraid to change that OR just not knowing any better…..

    Happy New Year darling!!!

  2. Kitty–Thats what I am talking about! For those in the world that do not believe that sex is an important part of the satisfaction of a relationship, it means that, IMHO, they have not experienced the height of a truly satisfying relationship or they would never settle for less.~~Dee

  3. Princess–I want to hedge and say yes for two reasons. 1–There are so few men who are truly good at sex. 2–The learning curve can be fun. But, on the other hand, there are two reasons that I go the other way (look at me–I go both ways today! *grin*). 1–Most women are not confident enough to approach the subject much less teach about sex. 2–Most women believe that it is them that is bad at sex rather than the man. After all, they are men right? They are supposed to know about sex! Right? (Not so much!)~~Dee

  4. Not so much is right, Dee. I mean, where the hell are we supposed to find all the answers? It’s definitely not genetically pre-programmed. Our problem is that WE (well, not me) tend to believe that we’re supposed to have the answers too. Add to that all of the white lies that get associated with bad sex (think orgasms faked and the “it was good for me” lies) and we really get lost easily.

    Good post, Dee.

  5. Mars–I have several posts coming up that I started before Christmas craziness. One of them will be about why women lie to men. I think that, first, we have to stop lying to ourselves. After all, we are not born knowing how to add or drive a car, why would we know about the right way to enjoy a truly great sexual relationship. Plus, I think most women need to give themselves ‘permission’ to be sexually experienced and enlightened. New Years Kiss!~~Dee
